Shelley Tolman
Shelley Tolman joined the Office of the General Counsel in January 2025. Her practice focuses primarily on employment matters.
Prior to joining the University, Ms. Tolman served as Principal Assistant City Attorney for the City of Tucson, advising on employment matters, and as Vice Chief Administrative Law Judge for the Industrial Commission of Arizona. Previously, Ms. Tolman was a partner with Coppersmith Brockelman PLC, where she represented clients in complex commercial, healthcare, and employment litigation.
Ms. Tolman graduated from the Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law (J.D., summa cum laude) and the University of Arizona (B.A., Art History, summa cum laude). She is a member of the State Bars of Arizona and California. Ms. Tolman is also a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA).
